General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-24710) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CYB561D1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with CYB561D1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CYB561D1 (Cytochrome b561 Domain Containing 1) is a human protein-coding gene that encodes a membrane protein belonging to the cytochrome b561 family of transmembrane electron transport proteins. Members of this family typically contain heme-binding domains and are involved in electron transfer across biological membranes, often participating in the maintenance of redox balance within cells. CYB561D1 is predicted to localize to intracellular membranes and may function in electron transport processes related to ascorbate (vitamin C) recycling or other redox reactions, similar to other cytochrome b561 family members. These proteins are thought to help regenerate reducing equivalents needed for enzymatic reactions and protection against oxidative stress. However, the specific physiological role, substrates, and functional pathways of CYB561D1 remain not fully characterized and are still under investigation.
DPABH-24710 is suitable for use in WB 1 (1000), IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500) applications.
DPABH-24710 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
