General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12008) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human COMMD3, targeting the amino acid region 18–195 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human COMMD3 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. COMMD3 (COMM Domain Containing 3) is a member of the COMMD protein family, characterized by a conserved COMM domain that mediates protein–protein interactions and the assembly of multiprotein complexes. COMMD proteins are best known for their roles in regulating NF-κB signaling, copper homeostasis, and endosomal trafficking. COMMD3 is thought to function as an adaptor or regulatory component within these pathways, contributing to the modulation of transcriptional responses and intracellular transport processes. It may also participate in ubiquitin-mediated protein turnover through interactions with E3 ligase complexes. COMMD3 is broadly expressed across tissues, suggesting a fundamental role in cellular homeostasis. Although its specific molecular partners and mechanisms are less well defined compared to other COMMD family members, it is considered part of a conserved regulatory network controlling signaling, trafficking, and protein stability.
DPABH-12008 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-12008 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
