This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03869) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human COG2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with COG2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a subunit of the conserved oligomeric Golgi complex that is required for maintaining normal structure and activity of the Golgi complex. The encoded protein specifically interacts with the USO1 vesicle docking protein and may be necessary for normal Golgi ribbon formation and trafficking of Golgi enzymes. Mutations of this gene are associated with abnormal glycosylation within the Golgi apparatus. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. DPABH-03869 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:100) applications. DPABH-03869 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide,50% glycerol,pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
