General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20924) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CKAP2L, targeting the amino acid region 396–745 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CKAP2L is a microtubule-binding protein that is crucial for the formation of the mitotic spindle and the cell cycle progression of neural progenitor cells. Mutations in CKAP2L have been associated with spindle organization defects, including mitotic spindle defects, lagging chromosomes, and chromatin bridges. There is evidence that mutations in this gene are associated with Filippi syndrome, characterized by growth defects, microcephaly, intellectual disability, facial feature defects, and syndactyly(PMID: 25439729).
DPABH-20924 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:5,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
DPABH-20924 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
