General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-14183) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human CFHR1, targeting the amino acid region 21–120 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with CFHR1 from mouse, rat, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a secreted protein belonging to the complement factor H protein family. It binds to Pseudomonas aeruginosa elongation factor Tuf together with plasminogen, which is proteolytically activated. It is proposed that Tuf acts as a virulence factor by acquiring host proteins to the pathogen surface, controlling complement, and facilitating tissue invasion. Mutations in this gene are associated with an increased risk of atypical hemolytic-uremic syndrome. DPABH-14183 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-14183 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
