General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16374) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human CETP, targeting the amino acid region 355–450 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with CETP from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is found in plasma, where it is involved in the transfer of cholesteryl ester from high density lipoprotein (HDL) to other lipoproteins. Defects in this gene are a cause of hyperalphalipoproteinemia 1 (HALP1). Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. DPABH-16374 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-16374 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
