General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21014) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CDKN2AIP, targeting the amino acid region 230–579 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CDKN2AIP (Cyclin Dependent Kinase Inhibitor 2A Interacting Protein), also known as CARF (Collaborator of ARF), is a nuclear protein that plays an important role in regulating the p53 tumor suppressor pathway. It interacts with CDKN2A (ARF) and modulates cellular responses to oncogenic stress, DNA damage, and proliferation signals. CDKN2AIP can function as both a transcriptional regulator and a signaling modulator, contributing to either growth arrest or apoptosis depending on cellular context. It is involved in maintaining genomic stability by influencing p53 activity and downstream cell cycle checkpoints. Dysregulation of CDKN2AIP has been implicated in tumorigenesis, as alterations in this regulatory axis can disrupt normal cell cycle control and apoptosis. Overall, CDKN2AIP is considered an important component of the ARF–p53 tumor suppressor network that helps safeguard against malignant transformation.
DPABH-21014 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:20–1:200), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
DPABH-21014 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
