This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16494) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CDHR5, targeting the amino acid region 297–651 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. MUPCDH (Mu-protocadherin), also known as MUCDHL (Mucin and cadherin-like protein) and CDHR5 (Cadherin-related family member 5), is a member of the cadherin superfamily. It is involved in calcium-dependent cell adhesion and may have additional functions in terminally differentiated epithelia. The MUPCDH gene maps to 11p15.5, with highest expression in kidney, liver, colon and small intestine. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described. DPABH-16494 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:20–1:200) applications.
DPABH-16494 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
