General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-14948) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CCDC130, targeting the amino acid region 1–178 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CCDC130, also known as YJU2B (YJU2 splicing factor homolog B), is a protein-coding gene located on the short arm of human chromosome 19 at cytogenetic band 19p13.13, encoding a probable splicing factor that participates in pre-mRNA splicing as part of the U2-type spliceosomal complex and post-mRNA release spliceosomal complex. The encoded protein, consisting of 396 amino acids, contains a coiled-coil domain and is predicted to localize to the nucleus, where it contributes to splice site selection during the first catalytic step of splicing. Expressed ubiquitously across human tissues with elevated levels in the spleen (RPKM 12.4) and endometrium (RPKM 9.8), YJU2B is inferred to play a role in the cellular response to viral infection based on expression patterns and ortholog studies.
DPABH-14948 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-14948 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
