This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05984) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CAMKMT, targeting the amino acid region 168–311 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human CAMKMT from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CAMKMT, also named as C2orf34 and CLNMT, belongs to the class I-like SAM-binding methyltransferase superfamily and CLNMT methyltransferase family. The CAMKMT enzyme participates in cell cycle and development, regulating the production of calmodulin with three methyl lysine residues directly or indirectly. It also plays a major role in the calcium-dependent signaling pathway and posttranscriptional modifications, including Lys-115. CAMKMT is expressed mainly in the brain, liver, muscle, colon, and lung and is involved in muscle cell activities that are regulated by calcium binding (PMID: 27435482). The molecular weight of CAMKMT is 36 kDa.
DPABH-05984 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:5,000–1:50,000), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-05984 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
