This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18835) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CALR3. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with CALR3 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the calreticulin family, members of which are calcium-binding chaperones localized mainly in the endoplasmic reticulum. This protein is also localized to the endoplasmic reticulum lumen, however, its capacity for calcium-binding may be absent or much lower than other family members. This gene is specifically expressed in the testis, and may be required for sperm fertility. Mutation in this gene has been associated with familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. DPABH-18835 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000) application. DPABH-18835 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
