General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-10758) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CALML3, targeting the amino acid region 1–149 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human CALML3 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CALML3 (calmodulin-like 3) is a calcium-binding protein belonging to the calmodulin family and contains multiple EF-hand motifs that enable Ca²⁺-dependent conformational changes and target interactions. It is predominantly expressed in differentiated epithelial tissues, including skin and mammary epithelium, where it participates in regulating cytoskeletal organization, cell differentiation, and intracellular signaling pathways. CALML3 interacts with various target proteins, such as unconventional myosins, to modulate actin-based processes in a calcium-dependent manner. Reduced or altered expression of CALML3 has been observed in certain epithelial cancers, suggesting a potential role in tumor suppression and epithelial homeostasis. Overall, CALML3 functions as a specialized calcium sensor that links Ca²⁺ signaling to epithelial cell structure and differentiation.
DPABH-10758 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-10758 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
