General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26210) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CACNG5. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with CACNG5 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a type II transmembrane AMPA receptor regulatory protein (TARP). TARPs regulate both trafficking and channel gating of the AMPA receptors. This gene is part of a functionally diverse eight-member protein subfamily of the PMP-22/EMP/MP20 family and is located in a cluster with two family members, a type I TARP and a calcium channel gamma subunit. This gene is a susceptibility locus for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. DPABH-26210 is suitable for use in IHC (1:40–1:200) application. DPABH-26210 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
