General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-23423) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CACNA1H, targeting the amino acid region 1181–1280 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Voltage-dependent T-type calcium channel subunit alpha-1H (CACNA1H) is located in the plasma membrane of various tissues, including the brain cortex, amygdala, caudate nucleus, putamen, kidney, liver, and heart. This subunit regulates muscle contraction, secretion, neurotransmission, and gene expression by forming the pore (PMID: 33985586). Predominantly, the changes observed are missense mutations associated with gain-of-function, resulting in an increased influx of calcium into adrenal cells (PMID: 33985586; 37311830).
DPABH-23423 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-23423 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
