General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03025) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CA11, targeting the amino acid region 12–328 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human CA11 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CA11(Carbonic anhydrase-related protein 11) is also named CARP2, and CARP XI and belongs to the alpha-carbonic anhydrase family. CARP XI is observed in the cerebellum, cerebrum, liver, stomach, small intestine, colon, kidney, and testis by immunohistochemical, and in the cerebellum, the most prominent signal is located in the Purkinje cells(PMID:20356370). CARP XI contains a hydrophobic N-terminal region for a possible signal sequence and asparagine glycosylation site and it plays a general role in the human central nervous system(PMID: 10350627).
DPABH-03025 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:20–1:200) applications.
DPABH-03025 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
