General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-14874) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human C13orf33, targeting the amino acid region 1–303 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. C13ORF33 (Chromosome 13 Open Reading Frame 33) is a poorly characterized protein-coding gene that encodes a predicted intracellular protein lacking well-defined functional domains or enzymatic motifs. As a result, its molecular function remains largely unknown and is primarily inferred from comparative genomics and expression profiling. Sequence conservation across vertebrate species suggests that C13ORF33 may perform an evolutionarily conserved but currently uncharacterized cellular role. Expression data indicate that it is broadly expressed at low to moderate levels across multiple tissues, without clear tissue-specific enrichment. At present, no established biochemical pathways, interaction partners, or disease associations have been definitively linked to C13ORF33, and it remains an open reading frame requiring further experimental investigation to clarify its biological function.
DPABH-14874 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate) applications.
DPABH-14874 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
