General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20825) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human C11orf80, targeting the amino acid region 173–522 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. In human, the four current members of the microrchidia (morc) gene family share an N-terminal ATPase-like ATP-binding region and a CW four-cysteine zinc-finger motif. The protein encoded by this gene also has a nuclear matrix binding domain and a two-stranded coiled-coil motif near its C-terminus. This gene is widely expressed at low levels in normal tissues and has elevated expression in placenta and testis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct proteins. DPABH-20825 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:20–1:200) applications. DPABH-20825 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
