This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05955) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human C11ORF49. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. C11ORF49 (Chromosome 11 Open Reading Frame 49) is a small, evolutionarily conserved human protein encoded on chromosome 11. Although it lacks well-defined enzymatic domains, C11ORF49 has been implicated in fundamental cellular processes through protein–protein interactions, particularly in pathways related to cell growth and signal transduction. Transcript and proteomic analyses indicate broad expression across tissues, suggesting a housekeeping or regulatory role. Despite increasing interest from functional genomics studies, the precise molecular function, interacting partners, and physiological relevance of C11ORF49 remain incompletely defined, making it an emerging target for basic biological investigation.
