Q: Could you inform me about the specificity of the Anti-ATPase p97 Antibody?
A: The Anti-ATPase p97 Antibody antibody reacts with the p97 subunit of 15S Mg2+-ATPase, and cross-reacts with Xenopus laevis, rabbit, rat, and human. It does not crossreact with the corresponding protein in budding yeast (Cdc48p). p97 ATPase is implicated in homotypic membrane fusion events and is related to the N-ethyl maleimide-sensitive fusion protein NSF/Sec18p.
