General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-13697) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ATP6V1A, targeting the amino acid region 456–617 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ATP6V1A is the official gene symbol for the human gene encoding the catalytic subunit A of the V1 peripheral domain of vacuolar H+-ATPase (V-ATPase), a multisubunit enzyme complex that functions as an ATP-dependent proton pump to acidify intracellular organelles such as endosomes, lysosomes, and synaptic vesicles in eukaryotic cells. Located on chromosome 3q13.31, the gene spans approximately 65 kb with 17 exons and produces a 617-amino-acid protein isoform (VA68) with a molecular mass of about 68 kDa, exhibiting near-identical sequence conservation to its bovine counterpart. This subunit plays a central role in ATP hydrolysis within the V1 domain, which comprises three A and three B heterodimers along with accessory subunits (C, D, E, F, G, and H), enabling proton translocation across membranes via the integral V0 domain.
DPABH-13697 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-13697 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
