General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12235) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ATP4B, targeting the amino acid region 201–291 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ATP4B from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to a family of P-type cation-transporting ATPases. The gastric H+, K+-ATPase is a heterodimer consisting of a high molecular weight catalytic alpha subunit and a smaller but heavily glycosylated beta subunit. This enzyme is a proton pump that catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the exchange of H(+) and K(+) ions across the plasma membrane. It is also responsible for gastric acid secretion. This gene encodes the beta subunit of the gastric H+, K+-ATPase.
DPABH-12235 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-12235 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
