General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18176) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ASB12, targeting the amino acid region 12–161 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ASB12 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The ankyrin repeat and SOCS box (ASB) family is composed of 18 proteins from ASB1 to ASB18 and belongs to the suppressor of cytokine signaling (SOCS) box protein superfamily. ASB family proteins interact with Cul5-Rbx2 to form E3 Ub ligases and play significant roles via a ubiquitination-mediated pathway (PMID: 16325183). The calculated molecular weight of ASB12 in mice or rat was 34 kda. ASB12 may be ubiquitinated, resulting in an increase in the observed molecular quantity. DPABH-18176 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000) application. DPABH-18176 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
