General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-09291) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ARL6IP6, targeting the amino acid region 1–110 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ARL6IP6 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ARL6IP6 is a protein-coding gene in humans located on the long arm of chromosome 2 at position 2q23.3, encoding the ADP-ribosylation factor-like GTPase 6-interacting protein 6 (ARL6IP6), also known as AIP6 or PFAAP1, a 226-amino-acid transmembrane protein with a predicted molecular mass of approximately 25 kDa. The ARL6IP6 protein is predicted to localize primarily to the nuclear inner membrane and exhibits ubiquitous expression across human tissues, with notably higher levels in the placenta (RPKM 7.1) and bone marrow (RPKM 6.2). Originally cloned from mouse lymphohematopoietic progenitor cells, the protein features a hydrophobic alpha helix suggestive of its membrane association.
DPABH-09291 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-09291 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
