General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04335) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ARHGDIA, targeting the amino acid region 69–204 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ARHGDIA, also known as GDIA1 or RHOGDI, is a human protein-coding gene located on the long arm of chromosome 17 at position 17q25.3 that encodes the protein Rho GDP-dissociation inhibitor alpha (RhoGDIα). This protein plays a central role in regulating the activity of Rho GTPases, small signaling molecules involved in cytoskeletal dynamics, by binding to their GDP-bound form and preventing GDP dissociation, thereby sequestering them in an inactive state within the cytosol. Through this mechanism, RhoGDIα controls the spatiotemporal activation of Rho GTPases at cellular membranes, influencing processes such as cell migration, adhesion, and morphology.
DPABH-04335 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-04335 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
