This product (Catalog No. DPABH-00557) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human AP3B1, targeting the amino acid region 1–100 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with AP3B1 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, sheep, and cat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a protein that may play a role in organelle biogenesis associated with melanosomes, platelet dense granules, and lysosomes. The encoded protein is part of the heterotetrameric AP-3 protein complex which interacts with the scaffolding protein clathrin. Mutations in this gene are associated with Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome type 2. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
DPABH-00557 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-00557 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
