General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-25413) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ANKS1B, targeting the amino acid region 446–510 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ANKS1B from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ANKS1B also named as AIDA or cajalin 2 is a amino acid protein, which contains 7 ANK repeats, 1 PID domain and 2 SAM domains. ANKS1B localizes in cytoplasm and is highly expressed in brain and testis. ANKS1B exists as many alternatively spliced isoforms. It interacts with AbPP to play a role in brain development. AIDA-1 also interacts with coilin in Cajal bodies to regulate pre-mRNA splicing.
DPABH-25413 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
