This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21999) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ANKRD5, targeting the amino acid region 91–305 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ANKRD5 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ANKRD5 (Ankyrin repeat and EF-hand domain containing 1, or ANKEF1) is a protein essential for male fertility, functioning as a key structural component of the axoneme within the sperm tail. It is highly expressed in the testis, where it stabilizes the microtubule structure required for sperm motility. Absence or dysfunction of ANKRD5 leads to severely reduced sperm movement and male infertility.
DPABH-21999 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:20,000–1:80,000), IHC (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-21999 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.02% Sodium Azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
