General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-17743) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human AKIRIN1, targeting the amino acid region 1–129 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Akirin1 is a highly conserved ubiquitously expressed nuclear protein harboring a clear nuclear localization signal and the protein-protein interaction property. Acting as a cofactor, Akirin1 has been disclosed that regulate transcriptional activities by establishing a link between multiple transcription factors and chromatin remodeling complexes (PMID: 39188701) . Akirin1 has been shown to be involved in the induction of cardiac hypertrophy via miR-1 and serum response factor (SRF) in mice (PMID: 30746755). DPABH-17743 is suitable for use in IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate) application. DPABH-17743 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
