General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-02214) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human AIG1, targeting the amino acid region 1–238 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human AIG1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Androgen-induced gene 1 (AIG1) is a protein-coding gene in humans that encodes an atypical integral membrane hydrolase known as FAHFA hydrolase AIG1, which functions in the degradation of bioactive fatty acid esters of hydroxy fatty acids (FAHFAs) and participates in the long-chain fatty acid catabolic process. Located on chromosome 6q24.2, spanning approximately 284 kb with 17 exons, the gene produces multiple isoforms, including a primary 238-amino-acid protein with five predicted transmembrane domains. DPABH-02214 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000), IHC (1:20–1:200) applications. DPABH-02214 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
