General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-02415) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ADRB3, targeting the amino acid region 310–408 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ADRB3 from rat, mouse, dog, pig, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the family of beta adrenergic receptors, which mediate catecholamine-induced activation of adenylate cyclase through the action of G proteins. This receptor is located mainly in the adipose tissue and is involved in the regulation of lipolysis and thermogenesis. Obesity and bodyweight-related disorders are correlated with certain polymorphisms in three subtypes of beta-adrenoceptor, among them, the ADRB3 gene.
DPABH-02415 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-02415 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
