This product (Catalog No. DPABH-13097) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ACSL6. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ACSL6 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the formation of acyl-CoA from fatty acids, ATP, and CoA, using magnesium as a cofactor. The encoded protein plays a major role in fatty acid metabolism in the brain. Translocations with the ETV6 gene are causes of myelodysplastic syndrome with basophilia, acute myelogenous leukemia with eosinophilia, and acute eosinophilic leukemia. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
DPABH-13097 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application.
DPABH-13097 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
