General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03678) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ACSL1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ACSL1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is an isozyme of the long-chain fatty-acid-coenzyme A ligase family. Although differing in substrate specificity, subcellular localization, and tissue distribution, all isozymes of this family convert free long-chain fatty acids into fatty acyl-CoA esters, and thereby play a key role in lipid biosynthesis and fatty acid degradation. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. DPABH-03678 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:50–1:200) applications. DPABH-03678 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
