This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28040) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ACSBG1. It has been affinity purified by protein A. ACSBG1 (Acyl-CoA Synthetase Bubble Gum 1) is an enzyme that activates long-chain and very long-chain fatty acids for metabolism, acting as a crucial regulator of lipid homeostasis, specifically in brain myelinogenesis and T cell differentiation. Primarily expressed in the brain, adrenal gland, and testes, it is essential for optimal Th17 and induced Treg cell function, with its deficiency impacting inflammatory responses and potentially contributing to neurodegenerative processes.
DPABH-28040 is suitable for use in IHC (1:25–1:100) application.
DPABH-28040 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
