General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04537) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ACP2, targeting the amino acid region 37–383 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ACP2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes the beta subunit of lysosomal acid phosphatase (LAP). LAP is chemically and genetically distinct from red cell acid phosphatase. The encoded protein belongs to a family of distinct isoenzymes which hydrolyze orthophosphoric monoesters to alcohol and phosphate. Mutations in this gene or in the related alpha subunit gene cause acid phosphatase deficiency. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene. DPABH-04537 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IF/ICC (1:10–1:100) applications. DPABH-04537 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
