General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-25819) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ACOT4, targeting the amino acid region 2–225 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ACOT4 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ACOT4, also known as PET2B and PTEIB, is an acyl-CoA thioesterases which catalyze the hydrolysis of acyl-CoAs to the free fatty acid and coenzyme A (CoASH), regulating their respective intracellular levels. ACOT4 has the strongest expression in liver and kidney and weaker expression in placenta, heart, and muscle(PMID: 16940157).
DPABH-25819 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
DPABH-25819 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
