General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18397) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ACO2, targeting the amino acid region 651–750 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ACO2 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the aconitase/IPM isomerase family. It is an enzyme that catalyzes the interconversion of citrate to isocitrate via cis-aconitate in the second step of the TCA cycle. This protein is encoded in the nucleus and functions in the mitochondrion. It was found to be one of the mitochondrial matrix proteins that are preferentially degraded by the serine protease 15(PRSS15), also known as Lon protease, after oxidative modification.
DPABH-18397 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-18397 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
