General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4159) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ANKRD7, targeting the amino acid region 1–205 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ANKRD7 (Ankyrin Repeat Domain 7) encodes a protein containing ankyrin repeat motifs, which are well-known protein–protein interaction modules involved in assembling multiprotein complexes and regulating diverse cellular processes. Although ANKRD7 is relatively poorly characterized, proteins with ankyrin repeat domains commonly participate in signaling pathways, cytoskeletal organization, and transcriptional regulation by acting as adaptors or scaffolding molecules. Expression data suggest that ANKRD7 is present in multiple human tissues, but its functional specificity remains unclear. It is predicted to operate in intracellular signaling networks, potentially influencing protein stability, subcellular localization of binding partners, or modulation of receptor-associated pathways. At present, there is limited direct experimental evidence defining its precise biochemical role or physiological function, and most annotations are based on domain structure and comparative genomics with other ankyrin repeat–containing proteins.
CABT-BL4159 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000) application.
CABT-BL4159 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
