General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL221) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human AFF3. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. AFF3 is a protein-coding gene in humans, officially named ALF transcription elongation factor 3 and also known as LAF4 or AF4/FMR2 family member 3, that encodes a nuclear transcriptional activator preferentially expressed in lymphoid tissues and involved in regulating transcription during lymphoid development and oncogenesis. The gene is located on chromosome 2q11.2, spans approximately 597 kb with 26 exons, and produces multiple transcript variants through alternative splicing and tissue-specific promoter usage, resulting in proteins of varying lengths, including a predominant 1,227-amino-acid isoform with a molecular mass of about 135 kDa.
CABT-BL221 is suitable for use in ELISA, Western blot (WB) applications.
CABT-BL221 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.02% Sodium Azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
