General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL213) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ADH6, targeting the amino acid region 1–295 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ADH6 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes class V alcohol dehydrogenase, which is a member of the alcohol dehydrogenase family. Members of this family metabolize a wide variety of substrates, including ethanol, retinol, other aliphatic alcohols, hydroxysteroids, and lipid peroxidation products. This gene is expressed in the stomach as well as in the liver, and it contains a glucocorticoid response element upstream of its 5 UTR, which is a steroid hormone receptor binding site. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
CABT-BL213 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:2,000–1:12,000), IHC (1:1,000–1:4,000), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
CABT-BL213 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
