This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4114) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ADAM7. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a member of the ADAMs family of zinc proteases. These transmembrane proteins play roles in multiple processes including cell signaling, adhesion and migration. The encoded protein lacks protease activity and may play roles in protein-protein interactions and cell adhesion processes including sperm-egg fusion. Mutations in this gene may be involved in the progression of melanoma. CABT-BL4114 is suitable for use in IHC (1:15–1:50) application. CABT-BL4114 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
