This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL168) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ACAP3, targeting the amino acid region 217–564 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ACAP3 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ACAP3 (Arf-GAP with coiled-coil, ANK repeat and PH domain-containing protein 3) , also known as CENTB5, is a protein-coding gene that belongs to the ACAP family of GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs). ACAP3 is involved in neuronal migration in the developing cerebral cortex of mice. Knockdown of ACAP3 in the developing cortical neurons of mice in utero significantly abrogated neuronal migration in the cortical layer, ACAP3 is involved in neuronal migration in the developing cerebral cortex of mice. Knockdown of ACAP3 in the developing cortical neurons of mice in utero significantly abrogated neuronal migration in the cortical layer (PMID: 28919417),.
CABT-BL168 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL168 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
