General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL164) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ABTB2, targeting the amino acid region 507–839 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ABTB2 (ankyrin repeat and BTB/POZ domain-containing protein 2) is a protein-coding gene that encodes a cytoplasmic protein characterized by ankyrin repeat motifs and a BTB/POZ domain, both of which are commonly involved in protein–protein interactions. Through these domains, ABTB2 is thought to function as an adaptor or scaffold protein, potentially linking target proteins to ubiquitin ligase complexes and contributing to protein degradation pathways. It has been implicated in cellular processes such as cytoskeletal organization, vesicle trafficking, and regulation of cell growth. Some studies suggest that ABTB2 may be associated with neurological function and tumor-related processes, although its precise biological roles and molecular mechanisms remain incompletely understood and require further investigation.
CABT-BL164 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
CABT-BL164 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
