The 3 Screen Islet Cell (GAD/IA-2/ZnT8) Autoantibody ELISA Kit is for the qualitative or semi-quantitative determination of autoantibodies to GAD, IA-2 and ZnT8 autoantibodies in human serum.
Contents of Kit
1. 3 SCREEN COATED WELLS - READY TO USE Strip wells are coated with GAD/IA-2 and ZnT8 12 break-apart strips of 8 wells (96 in total) in a frame and sealed in foil bag. Allow to stand at room temperature (20-25°C) for at least 30 minutes before opening.
Ensure wells are firmly fitted into frame provided. After opening return any unused wells to the original foil bag with desiccant provided and seal with adhesive tape. Place foil bag in the self-seal plastic bag and store at 2-8°C for up to 3 months.
2. Negative Control - Ready for use: 1 x 0.3 mL 3. GADAb Positive Control - Ready for use: 1 x 0.3 mL 4. IA-2 Ab Positive Control - Ready for use: 1 x 0.3 mL 5. ZnT8 Ab Positive Control - Ready for use: 1 x 0.3 mL 6. Reference Preparation - Ready for use: 1 x 0.3 mL 7. Calibrators (optional/ available separately) - Ready for use 5, 15, 100, 400 and 2000 U/mL (units are arbitrary CD units): 5 x 0.3 mL 8. Concentrated Wash Solution - Concentrated: 1 x 125 mL. Dilute 10 X with pure water before use. Store at 2-8°C up to kit expiry. 9. 3 Screen-Biotin – Lyophilized: 3 x 5.5mL. Immediately before use reconstitute each vial with 5.5 mL of reconstitution buffer for 3 Screen Biotin. When more than one vial is used, pool and mix gently before use. 10. Reconstitution Buffer for 3 Screen-Biotin Colored red - Ready for use: 2 x 15 mL 11. Streptavidin Peroxidase (SA-POD)-Concentrated: 1 x 0.7 mL. Dilute 1 in 20 with diluent for SA-POD. For example, 0.5 mL SA-POD + 9.5 mL SA-POD Diluent. Store at 2–8°C for up to 28 weeks after dilution. 12. Diluent for SA-POD - Ready for use: 1 x 15 mL 13. Peroxidase Substrate (TMB) - Ready for use: 1 x 15 mL 14. Stop Solution - Ready for use: 1 x 12 mL
Storage
Store unopened kits and all components at 2-8°C.
