General Notes
Tocilizumab (Actemra) is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody. It is approved for the treatment of autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis. The drug works by targeting the interleukin-6 receptor (IL-6R), inhibiting the IL-6 signaling pathway and reducing inflammation.
