General Notes
This antibody recognises Teprotumumab in direct ELISA. Teprotumumab (Tepezza) is a fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibody developed for the treatment of thyroid eye disease (TED). It targets the insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor (IGF-1R), inhibiting the signaling pathways that contribute to inflammation and tissue expansion behind the eyes. The drug aims to reduce symptoms such as proptosis (eye bulging) and improve ocular function in patients with TED.
