General Description
T3 (Triiodothyronine) is a hormone synthesized and secreted by the thyroid gland, and it is also a type of thyroid hormone. T3 is a biologically active hormone that can affect various processes in the body such as metabolism, growth, and development. It can promote protein synthesis, bone growth and maturation, stimulate the development and maturation of the central nervous system, promote the normal functioning of the cardiovascular system, and regulate body temperature, heart rate, and muscle function. The production of T3 mainly relies on the conversion of the thyroid hormone precursor T4, and most of the T3 is produced by the deiodination of T4 in various tissues and organs. T3 has a wide range of effects on the human body, and both excessive and insufficient secretion of T3 by the thyroid gland can have negative impacts on normal body functions, leading to diseases such as hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism.
Standard Curve
The following assay data are provided for reference, since experimental environment and operation are different. The establishment of standard curve depends on your own assay.
