The glass chip is designed for the generation of monodisperse oil-in-water (O/W) droplets. Featuring a vertical T-junction configuration, the chip enables precise control of droplet formation through adjustment of the continuous (aqueous) and dispersed (oil) phase flow rates, as well as interfacial tension. Droplets of tunable sizes can be consistently produced within the microchannels.
