The glass chip is a glass microfluidic device designed for the generation of monodisperse oil-in-water (O/W) droplets. Compared to conventional droplet generator chips, it offers faster droplet production and improved size uniformity. By precisely controlling the flow rates of the continuous and dispersed phases, as well as interfacial tension, droplets of tunable sizes can be consistently generated within the microchannels.
