Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
General Notes
The Anti-Human CYP19A1 Polyclonal Antibody (product code CABT-L1882W) is a rabbit polyclonal antibody specifically directed against human CYP19A1 (Cytochrome P450 Family 19 Subfamily A Member 1), also known as aromatase, CYPXIX, CYP19, P-450AROM, or estrogen synthase. CYP19A1 encodes aromatase, an endoplasmic reticulum–associated cytochrome P450 monooxygenase responsible for the conversion of C19 androgens, including androstenedione and testosterone, into C18 estrogens such as estrone and estradiol. As the key enzyme in estrogen biosynthesis, CYP19A1 plays an essential role in steroid hormone metabolism, reproductive biology, and estrogen homeostasis. This antibody is generated using recombinant human CYP19A1 protein corresponding to amino acids 1–181 expressed in E. coli with a GST tag and is suitable for research applications involving CYP19A1 detection.
This product is validated for use in Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), and ELISA applications. Recommended working dilutions include WB at 1:500–1:1,000, IHC at 1:50–1:500, IF at 1:50–1:500 for IF-P and 1:200–1:800 for IF/ICC. Each laboratory should determine the optimal working dilution according to specific experimental conditions. The antibody has demonstrated reactivity with human CYP19A1 and cross-reactivity with CYP19A1 from mouse, rat, sheep, goat, and goose species.
CABT-L1882W is a rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody purified by antigen affinity purification and supplied as a liquid formulation. Each vial contains 100 μl of antibody in PBS buffer (pH 7.3) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The product should be stored at −20°C and remains stable for one year after shipment. This product is intended for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic use.
