Application Notes
Suitable for use in ELISA.
Recommended dilution: ELISA (1:1,000–1:10,000).
Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
General Notes
The Human Anti-Human KLK2 Monoclonal Antibody (clone 7E5, product code CABT-L1905W) is a human monoclonal antibody specifically directed against human KLK2 (Kallikrein-2), also known as kallikrein-related peptidase 2, hK2, human kallikrein 2, or glandular kallikrein-1. KLK2 is a prostate-enriched, secreted trypsin-like serine protease belonging to the kallikrein family. It preferentially cleaves peptide substrates after arginine residues and contributes to the activation of pro-prostate-specific antigen (pro-PSA) and the release of kallidin from kininogen. Due to its restricted prostate expression, KLK2 is widely studied in prostate biology, prostate cancer biomarker research, and targeted therapeutic development. This antibody is generated using recombinant human KLK2 protein and is suitable for research applications involving KLK2 detection.
This product is validated for use in ELISA applications. The recommended working dilution is ELISA at 1:1,000–1:10,000. Each laboratory should determine the optimal working dilution according to specific experimental conditions. This antibody is suitable for quantitative or qualitative detection of human KLK2 in immunoassay development and related protein analysis applications.
CABT-L1905W is a human IgG1 monoclonal antibody purified using affinity chromatography and supplied as a liquid formulation. Each vial contains 100 μl of purified antibody in 0.01 M PBS (pH 7.4) containing 50% glycerol and 0.03% ProClin 300. Upon receipt, the product should be stored at −20°C or −80°C, and repeated freeze–thaw cycles should be avoided. This product is intended for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic use.
